
ROLE OBJECTIVE (THIS LINE IS NON-NEGOTIABLE)
To control, optimize, and bring accountability to all purchases, assets, freelancers, and production supply chains so that cost leakage is minimized and margins are protected while supporting scale.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
A) Procurement & Cost Control
-Own end-to-end procurement (assets, props, equipment, rentals, software, services)
-Mandatory vendor comparison & negotiation before purchase
-Create and maintain rate benchmarks
- Control emergency purchases with justification & post-audit
B) Asset & Inventory Management
-Maintain live asset register (₹45L+ assets)
-Track asset lifecycle: purchase → issuance → condition → repair → retirement
-Implement issuance & return system
-Reduce duplication and idle inventory
C) Production Supply Chain (Critical)
Manage freelancers, actors, models, locations, props
Create preferred vendor pool
Enforce rate cards
Coordinate availability, bookings, and releases
Prevent random sourcing and rate inflation
D) Budget & Reporting
Monthly procurement planning
Track spends vs approved budgets
Flag overruns in advance
Share monthly cost-saving & leakage-prevention report
E) Governance & Discipline
-Enforce purchase approval matrix
-Act as gatekeeper — not a rubber stamp
-Protect company interests while supporting production speed
MUST-HAVE SKILLS (NO COMPROMISE)
-2–5 years experience in procurement / supply chain
-Exposure to production, studio, events, agency, infra, or media
-Strong vendor negotiation skills
-Asset & inventory control experience
-Comfortable pushing back on internal teams
-Good with Excel / ERP / Zoho (or similar systems)
