Overview:
As a Video Editor, you will create high-quality, engaging video content that aligns with the brand’s creative vision. This role combines storytelling expertise, technical skills, and a proactive approach to leveraging AI tools to enhance creativity, efficiency, and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into cohesive, visually compelling videos that align with project objectives and brand guidelines.
• Utilise AI-driven tools for tasks such as scene selection, auto-captioning, colour correction, audio enhancement, and visual effects.
• Collaborate with creative, marketing, and strategy teams to conceptualise and deliver content that resonates with target audiences.
• Research, test, and adopt emerging AI tools, video editing software, and industry best practices to continuously improve workflow and output quality.
• Incorporate sound effects, music, graphics, motion design, and animations to enhance storytelling.
• Review scripts, storyboards, and rough cuts, suggesting improvements to enhance narrative, pacing, and audience engagement.
• Maintain high-quality standards across all video outputs while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Organise, archive, and manage project files and media assets for efficient workflow and retrieval.
• Monitor content performance metrics and incorporate learnings into future video projects to optimise engagement and impact.
• Stay updated on trends in video content formats, storytelling techniques, and digital platform requirements to ensure content relevance and innovation.

Requirements:

• Proven 2 yrs experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of professional work.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and other efficient tools. 
• Familiarity with AI-based editing tools like Runway, Pika, Descript, Synthesia, or similar platforms.
• Strong storytelling, visual composition, and pacing skills.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, evolving digital environments and learn emerging tools and trends.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
